Perdue Farms launches 400-product shoppable Store Locator
How Perdue Farms scaled shoppability across 400 products with a single Store Locator
A fully shoppable, product-filtered Store Locator laid the foundation for a more commerce-driven website and media strategy.
The Challenge

With a portfolio spanning 400 individual UPCs, Perdue Farms needed a primary Store Locator that could do far more than point shoppers to nearby stores.
Their existing approach limited shoppability and created friction for consumers who wanted to:
- Search by specific product, not just brand
- Confirm availability before choosing a retailer
- Move seamlessly from discovery to purchase
Managing this level of product complexity required a solution that could scale across hundreds of SKUs without sacrificing accuracy, performance, or shopper experience.
The Solution
Perdue Farms migrated off PriceSpider and partnered with Pear to power a fully shoppable, product-aware Store Locator built for enterprise scale.
Using Pear, Perdue:
- Scanned all 400 UPCs daily to enable accurate, inventory-aware shoppability
- Launched a Store Locator that allows shoppers to filter by specific product
- Enabled shoppers to purchase directly from the Store Locator at their preferred retailer
The result was a single, centralized shoppable experience that supports the full breadth of Perdue’s product catalog without fragmenting the path to purchase.
The Results
The successful launch of Perdue’s shoppable Store Locator became a catalyst for broader commerce transformation.
Key Outcomes

- 400 products enabled for shoppability through a single Store Locator experience
- Daily UPC scanning to support accurate, product-level availability
- Improved shopper experience through product filtering and direct retailer handoff
What came next
Following implementation, Perdue began redesigning its website to be more commerce-forward, expanding beyond the Store Locator to:
- Incorporate additional onsite shoppable experiences
- Integrate Pear Connect media into their marketing strategy
- Treat shoppability as a core pillar of digital engagement, not just an add-on
“With hundreds of products across retailers, Perdue needed a Store Locator that could scale. Pear made it possible to deliver product-level shoppability without complexity.”
